The inspirational quote above is one of Brian’s favorites. He’s an avid father and former IBMer that aspires to live out this quote as an inspirational speaker and leadership development coach. When he’s not busy speaking or writing, he’s spends his time at the Ohio State School for the Blind helping those with similar disabilities to achieve their goals or providing philanthropic help to Parents 2 Partners or A Kid Again. If not there, you can usually find him with his wife, Connie, spending time with their three kids.

About Brian – His Unique Story

He was in technology sales when his whole world came to a screeching halt!

On March 4, 2011 Brian woke up in total darkness due to a genetic defect that caused him to have physical blindness for six months. Days later he had brain surgery in the hopes they could correct his condition.

During his time of total reliance on others, Brian swore that if he could get his sight back he would help others that are struggling in their own way to overcome their own obstacles, disabilities or if using his unique metaphor – their “blindness.”   While he stills deals with partial blindness, Brian keeps the promise that he made to help others.

As he puts it, “I lost my sight and ended up with vision”.
