I’m Having a Baby? I don’t think so

If I would have gotten pregnant on my last day in the corporate world, I’d probably be in labor or have a newborn.
I know. That sounds really weird. That’s what I woke up to this morning.
I also woke up for my first full week as a 50 year-old. Maybe that has something to do with it.
Think about this.
Time doesn’t stand still for any of us. That’s why it’s so important to start taking action now. Take action on the things that you’ve always said that you wanted to do. Take action on the things that you said that you’ll do next year. Take action on the “some day” items.
A few weeks ago, I overheard someone delivering similar encouragement to someone else.
As she put it, there are seven days in the week. The last time that I checked not one of them was SOMEday.
Don’t you think that it’s time for action?
Time to move?
Don’t you think it time to come alive?
Yes, there are reasons and/or excuses why it can’t be done. Don’t let your dream stop there. Don’t let the fire go out. Figure a way around it. Plan and prepare for life’s adversities.
In a similar way plan and prepare for those moments of abundance.
Start to prepare for the impossible and it will suddenly become possible. When you reach a certain stage in life, you’ll have a better appreciation for what this means. For some of you, that may come in your 20’s. For others, it may never come. It’s truly up to you. There is always hope.
As John Green once wrote, “The world may be broken but HOPE is not crazy.”
Imagine where you want to be in nine months. Then, decide to make it happen.
