Sometimes It Does Take A Brain Surgeon - create a clear vision

The book that you've been waiting for is here - Obtain a clear vision!

Bleeding is usually an indication of life – unless of course that bleeding occurs in your brainstem. This was Brian’s experience, and it caused him to lose his sight. But providentially, it took him going blind to regain a clear vision for his life.

We all have blindness in our lives.

Did you ever wonder why certain things are happening to you?

  • Why do you get passed over for raises or get bad grades?
  • Why does a certain diagnosis send you into an emotional spiral, but you notice others handling it much differently?
  • Why don’t you seem to be employable?

Identify your blind spots, overcome obstacles and create a clear vision for your life

In this book, you’ll find the answer to many of these questions and more. As the author puts it, the first step in going from blindness to sight and then to vision is to admit that you’re blind.  Many people fail to admit that they’re blind as can be heard in the saying, “doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results is the definition of insanity”.

In order to have sight you need to be able to identify your blindspots. Don’t we all wish that we could identify our blindspots? The trouble is that you can’t identify your own blindspots on your own. That would go against the definition of a blindspot.

Once you have sight and have identified your blindspots the next phase is to see through those blindspots. There are multiple tools that are offered, in this book, to be used along the way. This is where you truly can achieve clear vision. Not only vision for you, but also for those around you.

5.0 out of 5 starsA choice in perspectives
By Amazon Customer on September 3, 2017
Format: Paperback
Brian E. Wagner offers a perspective on how vision (and the lack of it) can affect our daily life. He compares the loss of sight with one’s ability (or inability) to have a vision for their life. He brings a new light on blind spots, one that I had not been exposed to before. He also encourages the reader to pay attention now that all seems to work well in our life so that we can be prepared for the unexpected. This book quite enlightening and inspiring at the same time. The author offers genuine strategies to foresee life’s hazard, be prepared for them and be equipped to handle them with wisdom and perspective.

5.0 out of 5 starsA quick and valuable read
By Gary Monti on September 9, 2017
Format: Paperback
Brian addresses well how to thrive when hit by the unfairness of life. His story about trying to simply walk down a sidewalk and find a restaurant while visually impaired is a keeper. It encapsulates the trials we all face at some point and might be tempted to just “give up” – two words you won’t find in Brian’s vocabulary.

While inspirational the book is quite practical. Just reading the call-outs when under pressure or feeling like things are starting to fall apart can help steady oneself. Practical guidelines are offered in the acronyms Brain created. They are great mnemonics that can help one (re)orient and (re)gain a focus.
