The 7 Myths why people get Stuck – #3

This is the third in a series of posts regarding the 7 Myths that keep people stuck.
As I’ve said before, we all have our own story. None are less important than others
We also have stories that we’ve been telling ourselves or others have been telling us. We’re hearing things like….
Myth #3 – “If you can dream it, you can achieve it”
The key point from this is “Imagination”
The assumption that’s false is “Imagination guarantees you will achieve what you want.”
The truth is “Vision is only the first step in possibly achieving what you want.”
The real story is that I know people who have unlimited amounts of ideas that never amount to anything. My kids have a great imagination. Just because they can think of fun stories or talk about places to go doesn’t mean that it can happen. We have to realize that there is more to success than just imagining it. There’s often a lot of work that needs to be done. While I was in the hospital, I prayed for God to heal me and imagined that my vision was restored. After that, I went out and began to seek medical advice. I didn’t just lay there.
Myth … BUSTED!
