The 7 Myths why people get Stuck – #6
This is the sixth in a series of posts regarding the 7 Myths that keep people stuck.
As I’ve said before, we all have our own story. None are less important than others
We also have stories that we’ve been telling ourselves or others have been telling us. We’re hearing things like….
Myth #6 – “It’s not what you know, it’s who you know”
The key point from this is “Luck”.
The assumption that’s false is “You can blame your plateau on the person you don’t even know yet”
The truth is before others will choose to believe in you, they will naturally judge if you believe in yourself.
The real story is that I know people who emitted the right frequency and attracted the right people to them because of it. Take a look at the election process. In most instances we have two qualified candidates with loving families and large following of backers. These are all people that believe in the candidate. None of that determines the outcome of the election or what happens with the winner’s associates or the loser’s.
In the sales profession, relationships are vitally important. That doesn’t mean that they are the only thing. You have to have something to sell and the customer has to have a need. Without those two things, it doesn’t matter if you have a relationship or not.
Myth … BUSTED!
