We also have stories that we’ve been telling ourselves or others have been telling us. We’re hearing things like….

Myth #7 – “Be at the right place at the right time”

The key point from this is “Chance”

The assumption that’s false is “You stumble into greatness when you stumble into the right space”

The truth is “If you’ve prepared for the moment, then the moment is prepared for you.”

The real story is that I know people who won while in the wrong place at the wrong time and others wo lose when they were in the right place at the right time. Stop banking on luck or coincidence and start something, do something or be something. Success won’t happen on it’s own. It takes more than prayer. This reminds me of one of my favorite sayings, “Luck is where Preparation and Opportunity meet.”

Myth … BUSTED!
