Wanna Know How To Get To The Next Level?

Start by asking yourself a question, “Why am I asking myself this question?”
It’s because you know that something is holding you back. You have a firm understanding that there is another level. It’s as if you’ve been given a gift, but you’re not allowed to open it. Once you’re given permission and open it, you wonder about the next gift. That’s not a bad thing. This is just how we’re wired as humans. It’s the world that we live in. So, how do you know if you’ve gone too far? You need to set a baseline and then continually revisit. Here’s how you can start.
What do I want?
This not only means what do you want right now, but what do you want in the future? Maybe you’re wondering why you exist. It’s important for all of us to understand why we exist. If you don’t question your existence, you may as well just exist. I’m willing to bet that even if you “just exist” you still have motives. You may not verbalize them but you secretly have reasons for your decisions. There is something that is propelling or pulling you towards it. This something may or may not be your end reason, but it is a step along the way. A step in the direction of how you want others to look at you. This is a way for others to understand you. This understanding doesn’t have to be for everybody. It may just be a handful of people that understand. How do you want to be remembered?
Who am I becoming?
The devil and his empty promises can lead us to things that we need to refuse. But, how do I know that I should refuse them? Some of you might say, “well, it’s just common sense.” While others might say, “make good decisions.” I’m sorry to say, it’s just not that easy for everyone. That’s why we need to temper what we take in and where we spend our time and money. The farther that you get away from what you want, the harder it’s going to be to get “there” in the end. Making a bad decision isn’t the end of the world. We always have time to make corrections. That’s where grace comes in.
What can I do about it?
You can change. It’s first got to be your decision to change. Then, once you’ve made the decision, your “Why” has to be big enough. Why did you make the decision to change? If your “Why” isn’t big enough you’re going to revert to your old ways. This cycle can repeat itself many times or never until you have success. It’s up to you. You can do it. It’s more than that. ONLY you can do it.
Believe in yourself. Believe in the gift of grace.
